The Return

If you’ve been following me on social media, you’ll have seen the same image I’m using for this blog entry used to declare my return to Twitch.

Since my Internet was fixed last year, I’ve not streamed properly and ultimately decided (along with a few other factors) to wait until NBN arrives.

Yesterday on Twitter, I was engaged by several well known streamers after responding to a tweet.

The tweet was from Bradley “DYoshii” Jolly, a partnered Twitter streamer from Melbourne, stating his intent to help anyone get partnered. I responded by saying that I’ll take him up on it once I got NBN, which only a few months away.

His response, basically, was to not wait for NBN.

This triggered a flow on conversation from guys like Wyld, and Nate “Blunty” Burr, all pitching in to offer their advice and pep me up to get back into it now, rather than waiting for NBN.

And then…

And finally…

With that, I’ve decided to get back into it.

My plan is to setup OBS again, suck it up, and get going with it and try and make it as decent quality as I can with 700mbits of bitrate. NBN isn’t that far out for me, with the estimated timeframe for service completion earmarked for April to June this year. If I just keep going with it, when it finally does come, it’ll be all the sweeter.

So here’s the plan:

  1. Get OBS setup again with all of my bits and bobs.
  2. Stream on a regular basis, but not too long each session to my back injury.
  3. Host more fan-game events.
  4. And just have fun with it until NBN arrives.

I don’t have any set schedule for the time being, but I’ll likely stream on the weekend for two hours. I’ll update my Facebook and Twitter pages with times. If you’re keen to support me on this venture (again) and want to get notified when I go love, go click the follow button at
